Ashley Ortega

Ashley Ortega brings years of experience, passion, and a people-first approach to coaching at CrossFit Weeki Wachee. She has been coaching since 2016 and holds her CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2), with a strong background in personal training, adaptive athlete training, and mobility and flexibility work.

Ashley believes that fitness should be accessible to everyone, no matter where they’re starting. Her coaching style focuses on meeting athletes where they are, improving movement quality, and helping them build confidence and strength both inside and outside the gym. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, she’s committed to helping you move better, feel better, and continue progressing.

Her favorite movements are the clean & jerk and thrusters, and she has a special appreciation for classic workouts like “Annie.” But more than anything, she values athletes who show up ready to work, listen, and give their best effort.

 

Outside of the gym, Ashley is an avid backpacker who enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active in nature.


Her message to athletes is simple: show up, leave your ego at the door, work hard, support each other, and enjoy the process.
